Leno thinks Kerry would be great top diplomat: He’ll bore our enemies to death
Late-night comedian Jay Leno on Tuesday poked fun at reports that President Barack Obama plans to appoint Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) as his next Secretary of State.
“It looks like President Obama is going to pick John Kerry as our next secretary of state,” he joked. “This is a very strategic move when it comes to our foreign policy. Obama plans to use Kerry — see, he will bore our enemies to death. He’ll start talking — when they doze off, we’ll move it.”
