Merry Christmas! I approve of having Christmas on a Tuesday, as it means that you basically have a three-day weekend to get all that last minute shopping done. If there was a way to keep Christmas on a Tuesday every year, I’d fully support that measure. We move Thanksgiving around the calendar to preserve the four-day weekend, so I don’t know why we can’t just get this done.

Consider this an open thread. What are you doing for the holidays? I’m going to see “Django Unchained” and then having dinner with some folks. There are presents and sticking bows on cat heads in my future. I’m also trying to get some reading done with all this downtime, though often I have more ambition than time when it comes to that. Share your plans in this thread!
