That’s one way to take down the Christmas tree.

Saying, “We do a lot of dumb things when we’re happy,” WRC-TV posted video of a jubilant Washington Redskins fan on Monday, celebrating his team’s win over the rival Dallas Cowboys by jumping headlong into the tree Sunday night.

According to the description of the short clip on YouTube, the man promised “if the redskins [sic] make the playoffs, i’m going to tackle the christmas tree!”

The happy leap was probably years in the making: after all, the win gave the Redskins their first NFC East title in 13 years and the team’s first playoff berth since 2007. Now the question becomes, how will he celebrate if the team beats Seattle in their first-round game next week?

Watch the short clip, posted on YouTube Sunday, below.
