A naked man wielding a samurai sword was taken into custody on Tuesday without incident, police in San Jose said Tuesday.

The man’s neighbors reportedly called police when they saw him standing outside holding an assault rifle. He allegedly fled when he heard sirens in the distance, according to NBC Bay Area.

When police finally pulled the man over and confronted him, they claim he exited his vehicle unclothed and holding his sword. “You’re going to have to kill me,” he allegedly said.

After a short standoff officers secured the man’s weapons and took him into custody without further incident.
