In a strange case that led to the arrest of an NYPD officer in October for allegedly plotting to kidnap and eat women, a second person is now in jail in connection to the case, reported NBC News.

No additional details have been made available as to what that specific connection is, but the FBI confirmed that Michael Valise has been arrested.

The case has revealed graphic emails in which the first suspect, NYPD officer Gilberto Valle, wrote to an alleged accomplice that he could put two women he allegedly planned to kidnap in his oven “if I folded their legs.”

He also allegedly wrote, “I was thinking of tying her body onto some kind of apparatus … cook her over a low heat, keep her alive as long as possible” and that one woman looked “tasty.”

Valle’s lawyer said in court that those comments were “idle talk” and a “fantasy, in a deviant world where people talk about unreal things.”
