A 25-year-old security guard in Florida was shot early Monday over a fight that resulted from a spilled drink, according to police.

Deon Sutton, 26, became upset with Josue Santiago, a security guard at the Ocala Entertainment Complex, after his drink was knocked over. Sutton began yelling, demanding a new drink, and was warned he would be removed if he did not calm down.

Santiago began to escort Sutton out of the building when Sutton allegedly pulled a gun from his pants. The two men struggled over the gun and Santiago was shot in the shoulder.

The wound was non-life threatening, police said.

Following the incident, another security guard found a Cobra Derringer on the ground. Sutton denied he was carrying a gun.

Sutton charged with aggravated battery with a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, carrying a concealed firearm and possession of marijuana under 20 grams. He was on probation for carrying a concealed weapon.
