Comedian Lee Camp assailed the practice of fracking in a video released on Monday, mocking supporters of the practice who insist it is safe while arguing they should not have to reveal the chemicals involved.

“It’s a funny thing about the word ‘safe,’” Camp said, affecting an impersonation of a fracking advocate. “It’s … it’s an acronym, and it stands for … Sexy And Fucking Excellent. And there’s one thing that’s for sure: fracking is Sexy and Fucking Excellent.”

The practice, which involves pumping high-pressure water and other chemicals underground to allegedly spur the release of natural gas reserves, was recently defended by a member of a federal council on science and technology as the best way for the U.S. to meet the goals set by President Barack Obama to fight global climate change. But at the end of the day, Camp said, fracking amounts to people doing to the Earth what they did to the failed Hindenburg airship.

“We’re filling it with hazardous material and then seeing how it goes,” he said. “Maybe it’ll go fine. Of course, maybe we’ll all go down in a ball of fire, screaming something about humanity. But, maybe it’ll go fine.”

Camp also pointed out that the Environmental Protection Agency has been blocked from revealing the contents of “fracking fluid,” the mixture involved in the procedure. Last month, the agency was stymied when nine companies asked to submit information about their activities said the information was “proprietary.”

“It could be [a] McDonald’s milkshake, it could be aardvark juice. We don’t know what the fuck it is,” he said. “And it’s seeping into our ground water, into our aquifers, sometimes making tap water flammable. But what’s the big deal? The only thing better than a water balloon fight is a flammable water balloon fight!”
