Police in Prospect Heights, Illinois arrested a Milwaukee woman Thursday who allegedly pepper sprayed and robbed a 14-year-old boy who tried to hire her for sex. According to the Chicago Tribune, 22-year-old Dareka R. Brooks is set to be arraigned in Cook County Circuit Court on Friday on charges of armed robbery.

Illinois Assistant State’s Attorney Katherine Levine told the Tribune that the teenager met Brooks online and the two agreed to meet, purportedly for a paid sexual encounter. The boy was home alone Wednesday night when Brooks arrived.

The woman asked the teenager to remove his pants. As he was sitting on the bed, she sprayed his face with pepper spray, grabbed the boy’s iPad and a piggy bank and fled the scene.

The teenager called police with a description of Brooks’ vehicle. She was apprehended within hours at an Elk Grove Village, Illinois motel when she turned on the iPad, allowing police to track its location. Both it and the piggy bank were recovered.

Bond for Brooks was set at $10,000.
