In an online exclusive segment published Monday, late night talk show host Conan O’Brien featured “Big Bang Theory” comedian Simon Helberg auditioning for Steven Spielberg’s “Lincoln” as legendary character actor Nicolas Cage.

Helberg pulls off a pretty convincing Cage as he acts out yet another addition to the Internet’s unexplainable fascination with the “Nic Cage as Everyone” meme, which features countless doctored photos of Cage’s face on virtually every body one can think of.

Of course, the blog that started it, NicCageAsEveryone.blogspot.com, featured Cage as Lincoln back in 2010 — an epic image by all rights — but Helberg acting it out is somehow even funnier.

Just watch out for that “Wicker Man” quote. If you’re unfamiliar, it’s one of Cage’s worst movies, and it’s got one particularly awful scene featuring lots and lots of bees… Which somehow made it into Helberg’s “Lincoln” audition.

It simply must be seen to be believed.

This video is from “Conan,” published Monday, June 17, 2013.
