A man who teaches the Earth is only only 6,000-years-old heckled a gathering of atheists over the weekend as they unveiled the country’s first monument to non-belief.

The group American Atheists unveiled the 1,500-pound granite bench on Saturday at the Bradford County courthouse in Starke, Florida. but the celebration was interrupted when Eric Hovind of Creation Today climbed on top of the monument and began yelling at the crowd.

“I’d like to that the tolerance of the American Atheists for providing a platform to proclaim the truth that Jesus Christ is Lord,” he sarcastically shouted. “To the glory of God the father, thank you very much for being tolerant of other religions. Thank you so much for providing a platform to teach the truth.”

The crowd was noticeably upset by the intrusion, and began shouting back at him. Eventually, Hovind thanked them for their time and stepped down.

According to the Associated Press, someone in a car also attempted to throw a toilet seat and a roll of toilet paper at the crowd, but missed.
