A Florida man was in Volusia County jail on Thursday after biting his grandmother during an argument about two bottles of wine.

According to an arrest report obtained by The Daytona Beach News-Journal, 59-year-old Sue Wilson said that 19-year-old grandson Blake Hale was acting drunk when she came home on Tuesday. When she confronted him over the two empty bottles of wine, he became angry and yelled obscenities at her.

The argument escalated and Hale bit Wilson on the shoulder, the arrest report said.

Wilson’s 70-year-old husband also reported that Hale had punched him and bloodied his nose.

Hale was arrested on charges of battery and battery of a person 65 years of age or older. It was not clear if a third fugitive from justice charge was related to the case.
