The act would block all funds for any educational institution that punishes a student for “brandishing a pastry or other food,” possessing a toy gun less than two inches, simulating a gun with the fingers or hand, “vocalizing imaginary firearms or munitions,” drawing a picture of guns or supporting Second Amendment rights on a T-shirt.
Students who build toy guns with Lego blocks or simulate guns with a pencil would also be protected.
Stockman has reportedly given away at least two AR-15 military-style assault rifles to promote his campaign following last year’s slaughter of 20 children at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut.
