Passengers on a New York City-bound were startled and disgusted when their bus driver began to masturbate openly as he drove the vehicle through Lincoln Tunnel. According to the New York Daily News, the unsettling scene unfolded around 8:00 p.m. on the night of June 24. One passenger filmed video of the incident on a cell phone camera.

“It was disturbing,” said the Manhattan librarian who filmed the driver, George Simpson, 41, of Newark. “I was in shock and disbelief.”

Simpson completely exposed himself and reportedly brought himself to climax in full view of passengers.

“The tape speaks for itself,” said Patrick Metz, lawyer for the woman who took the video. “This would be an affront to any individual if this happened in front of them.”

New Jersey Transit told the NYDN that Simpson has driven the route for two and a half year, but has been suspended from service pending disciplinary action.

“The bus operator in question was immediately removed from service without pay, as a result of this disturbing and grossly irresponsible conduct,” said agency spokesperson John Durso.

New York Transit Police are said to be investigating the incident. Simpson has been charged with reckless endangerment, lewdness and risking widespread injury.

Simpson’s neighbors told the NYDN that they haven’t seen him in days.

“He must have been really horny,” said one 28-year-old female neighbor who did not give her name. “He must have seen someone he really liked on that bus.”
