Thursday night on “The Colbert Report,” host Stephen Colbert received an “Oppressed White Male Alert” during the broadcast. It was a report that San Diego Mayor Bob Filner (D) is having his rights trampled on by a bunch of no-fun killjoys who don’t like to see a guy have a good time.

“He is being accused of sexual harassment by eight different women,” explained Colbert, “as well as anyone looking at this picture right now,” he said, pointing to a leering photo of the mayor.

“The details are disturbing. So if you’ve got children in the room,” he said, “they’re about to grow up real quick.”

He then rolled tape of some of the allegations against Filner, including the “Filner head-lock,” in which the mayor would grapple on to women, seizing them around the shoulders and trying to force his tongue into their mouths. Filner also asked his former communications director to come to work without wearing her underwear.

“Now, I know that sounds bad,” said Colbert. “But we have no reason to think that Filner wasn’t also willing work without underwear. It’s called ‘equal access,’ folks.”
