A Florida lawmaker became the latest Republican to be loudly questioned by constituents over his opposition to the Affordable Care Act.

According to Think Progress, Rep. Daniel Webster (R-FL) was booed and heckled during a town hall event on Thursday, with one attendee saying, “Tell him to stop lying” at one point about the health care mandate, commonly referred to as “Obamacare.”

When Webster told the audience that President Barack Obama’s administration had done away with a cap on the out-of-pocket costs Americans could incur in their deductibles and co-pays, he was quickly corrected by several attendees, who told him the cap is in fact being delayed by one year, prompting a moderator to ask the crowd to “give him the opportunity to make [his] statements, whether we agree or disagree.”

“You want to shut us up,” one resident protested.

Webster was also criticized for being part of the 40 repeal votes by the Republican-heavy House of Representatives against the mandate by one resident who said he was waiting for the state healthcare exchange to open, in spite of state GOP resistance.

“What happens to those of us who finally have access to health insurance for the first time in nine or ten years?” the unidentified resident told Webster. “What happens to us? And you want to make this local, I’ll make this local. I’m a constituent, right now I can’t get health care.”

Webster’s encounter came one week after his colleague, Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-NC), was confronted by residents citing Obamacare as their best avenue for getting healthcare.
