Beau Biden, attorney general of Delaware and son of Vice President Joe Biden, is currently in a hospital in Houston, Texas undergoing a series of tests. According to Talking Points Memo, the White House issued a statement saying that Biden experienced “an episode of disorientation and weakness” while on vacation with his family.

Biden had a minor stroke in May of 2010, but recovered fully. USA Today reported that the episode of disorientation came on while he and his family were driving to Indiana last Wednesday.

He sought treatment at hospitals in Chicago and Philadelphia before traveling to Houston. Vice President Biden accompanied his son to Houston on Monday.
