Disgraced Navy chaplain Gordon “Dr. Chaps” Klingenschmitt felt compelled to issue a public response to a nearly four-year-old song by Madonna in which she asks, “My sex is a killer, do you wanna die happy?”

“Honestly, no, I’d prefer not to die happy,” Klingenschmitt said in footage posted Wednesday by Right Wing Watch. “Thank you, Madonna. I prefer to live. And I prefer to live for God. I’ve been faithful to my wife for 22 years, and I don’t think I’ll ever know another woman.”

Klingenschmitt used the song, “Revolver” — originally released in December 2009 as part of a greatest hits compilation — in order to figure out whether she had agreed for “a demonic spirit to rule in her body,” likening her to the “adulterous woman” at the center of a cautionary tale in the Bible.

“We can see the demonic spirit of adultery in people like that,” Klingenschmitt warned. “And, of course, when we apply this to Madonna, she does much the same thing, right? She’s out there pandering with sexuality, and she does it for money. And she’s out there seducing people to death.”
