Ben Kinchlow, the long time co-host of The 700 Club on the Christian Broadcasting Network, said Wednesday the invasion of Iraq was justified because of the September 11 terror attacks.

During an appearance on The David Pakman Show, Kinchlow said top officials in Iraq were involved in al-Qaeda’s attacks against the United States.

Pakman told Kinchlow there was no connection between Iraq and al-Qaeda. But Kinchlow said Pakman only believed that because he had a “leftist position.”

“There are people who view the same situation from different perspectives,” Kinchlow said. “You have one perspective. I have another perspective.”

Pakman remarked that his perspective was based on facts.
