Firefighters are still trying to contain a fire that broke out after an explosion ripped through an apartment building in Minneapolis Wednesday morning. CNN affiliate KARE reported that at least 12 people were sent to the local hospitals, some with serious injuries.

The cause of the blast is currently unknown. Robert Ball of Hennepin County EMS told KARE that victims’ injuries ranged from burns to blast trauma to those sustained from jumping out of the three-story building’s windows.

Unconfirmed reports say that the building’s roof has collapsed.
