A Florida man is dead after shooting up a hospital and several cars in Daytona Beach on Sunday.

Police said that 20-year-old Jonathan G. Rodriguez-Jeff of Deltona first reportedly fired a shotgun at vehicles on Clyde Morris Boulevard before crashing his vehicle through the west gates of Halifax Hospital, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

After firing at several more vehicles in the parking lot, Rodriguez-Jeff shot out the glass doors of the hospital entrance and entered the building.

“Do you guys want to die tonight?” he reportedly asked a nurse and a patient in a second floor room.

After confronting a nurse and a patient in another room, Rodriguez-Jeff shot himself in the head.

Two nurses also suffered minor injuries as the results of being struck with the butt of Rodriguez-Jeff’s shotgun, police said.

“We may never know why he did this,” Daytona police spokesperson Jimmie Flynt observed on Sunday.
