An episode of the British rap competition show The Jump Off was disrupted on Monday when one contestant’s rape threat led to an impromptu face-off with one of the judges.
The Independent reported that the incident began when MC Lighte The Boombox Genie rapped at his female opponent, MC D’Klastro, “No sexercise, b*tch. After this, in the alley you gonna get raped.”
The lights surrounding the stage immediately came on and the crowd began to jeer Lighte, who responded, “It’s a battle.” He then challenged the audience, “Suck my d*ck. You do better, come on stage.”
At that point, one of the judges, Radio 1 presenter DJ Nihal, accepted Lighte’s dare and responded with insults of his own.
“Misogynistic prick, talking you think you’re sick,” Nihal said. “You fat fuc*ing idiot rapping on this chick. This is The Jump Off, this is the big stage, this is Nihal, feel this fuc*ing rage, you fat f*ck. What happens when you shave? You cut yourself out comes gravy and lard, you’re not brave.”
Though Nihal appeared to win the support of the crowd, D’Klastro never got a chance to respond to either man’s comments, as she left the stage before the segment ended.
