In the clip embedded below, Fusion TV’s Alicia Menendez rips Fox News for its hosts’ juvenile, sophomoric response to the news that Facebook is expanding its gender options for users to be more inclusive.

“And Fox thinks it’s hi-larious,” said Menendez, rolling a clip reel of “Fox and Friends” anchors Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Brian Kilmeade and other Fox personalities laughing and joking about being trans men and Sean Hannity wondering aloud about the “Intersex” option, “Whatever that is.”

“Yeah,” said Menendez. “Whatever that is!”

“Fox News, do you not have producers?” she asked. “Let me Google that for you.”

The Intersex Society of North America, the first option that comes up on a Google search, defines “Intersex” as “a general term used for a variety of conditions in which a person is born with a reproductive or sexual anatomy that doesn’t seem to fit the typical definitions of female or male. For example, a person might be born appearing to be female on the outside, but having mostly male-typical anatomy on the inside. Or a person may be born with genitals that seem to be in-between the usual male and female types.”

“’Fox and Friends’ and enemies,” said Menendez, “you are totally right. That is hilarious and not at all complicated or sensitive. I am so sorry that Facebook assaulted your male-female, socialist-patriot, illegal alien-’noble pilgrim’ paradigms. Now let’s get back to the business of dog weddings and mocking other disenfranchised people shall we?”
