A Texas Republican lawmaker was less than amused by President Barack Obama trading insults with comedian Galifianakis during a light-hearted interview segment.

“The President shouldn’t be wasting time on a parody interview,” tweeted Rep Randy Weber (R-TX). “He should be focusing on the current state of affairs across the globe.”

The lawmaker who replaced former presidential candidate Ron Paul in the House of Representatives got more specific in his suggestions.

“Instead of wasting time with a parody interview, he should be focusing on finding answers re: #Benghazi,” Weber posted.

Obama sat down for the brief interview with Galifianakis during the comedian’s “Between Two Ferns” Internet program on the website Funny or Die, and the segment was widely shared on social media and criticized by Republicans.

“Instead of playing celebrity, our President should be working on fixing his failed takeover of health care,” Weber tweeted.
