A 64-year-old woman was arrested after she assaulted two other senior citizens at the Golden Corral food bar in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. According to WITN Channel 7, Polly Richards was taken into custody by police after she attacked two other customers — one with a flying plate — at around 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

Linwood Moore, 69, told police that Richards attacked him and shoved him into the restaurant’s salad bar. Surveillance video reportedly showed the woman grabbing his shirt, shouting at him and slapping his face before she pushed him into a wall.

Moore — who recently had stints placed in blood vessels around his heart — said that he tried to subdue Richards by grabbing her arms, at which point the elderly pair fell to the floor.

During the melee, Richards flung a plate of food, striking 62-year-old Fay Cardwell in the shin and knee and raising welts.

Witnesses told police that the confrontation began when Moore tried to go around Richards in line. The woman was filling a drink glass at the time.

When police took Richards into custody, she reportedly told them, “Just take me to the f*cking jail, then.”

Channel 7 reported that she was charged with two counts of assault and battery and held on a $1,500 secured bond.
