An Indiana pastor said that his church was vandalized this week when someone change a roadside sign to include a racial slur.

A motorist noticed that two signs on Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Lanesville had unusual messages and posted photos to Facebook, according to WLKY.

One sign read, “Call Satan A N*gger.” And another sign was changed to read, “Love Satan, Our Ruler.”

Pastor Frank Pendleton said that the signs were vandalized between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Floyd County deputies were investigating if other churches were targeted by the vandals.
