In woman-beating MMA fighter, men’s rights activists have found the hero they deserve
When we last heard from one of the factions of the Men’s Rights Activist movement, they had just wrapped up their confab at a VFW lodge on the shores of the mighty St. Clair river — named after a woman — having been chased there by a coven of screaming feminists and also a hotel that wanted additional security in case one of the attendees got shot down by a cocktail waitress in the hotel bar and all hell broke loose.
At the time, the loosely organized collection of embittered men, restraining-order-Americans, and recently divorced dads were kind of reeling because Elliott Rodgers had just acted out their darkest fantasy which was worse than breaking the first rule of Fight Club. But they were all able to peacefully assemble and get back to agreeing that women are still ‘the worst.’
But if you thought they might have learned to stay clear of revoltingly violent men who think a woman is nothing more than a sex toy and a punching bag, you’d probably be wrong.
Take for example MMA fighter Jon Koppenhaver, also known by the very butch name ‘War Machine,’ who got himself in a bit of a bind with the authorities after beating the hell out of his ex-girlfriend, porn actress Christy Mack.
Mack’s last encounter with the War Machine (warning: brutal pictures) left her with 10 broken bones, a broken nose, missing and broken teeth, a fractured rib and a severely ruptured liver from a kick to her side. Koppenhaver sawed off her hair with a blunt knife and was preparing to rape her when she escaped. Following Koppenhaver’s flight from the authorities and subsequent capture, bloggers uncovered a treasure trove of his writings — a MANifesto if you will — written while he was in prison for following a previous assault.
In those writings, Kpeenhaver made many lovely observations, such as:
“So it’s Christmas Day and I’m laying in my bunk wondering, ‘Why the hell do American men get married!? There is one guy in here for slapping his wife, one here for yelling at his wife, and one here for beating some guy’s ass that disrespected his wife. WTF!? If your wife is being a bitch you can’t slap her, if your wife is yelling at you, God forbid you yell back, and if some asshole hurts your wife, you cannot protect her!”
… and
“Next thing you know it will be illegal to fuck your wife! LMAO! Maybe then, MEN in this country will get the fucking hint and MOVE! This country forces you to be a bitch! And then you go to jail!”
… before concluding
“The oppression of MEN is worse than oppression of Jews in Nazi Germany, worse than the slavery of blacks in early America … I’m not exaggerating either… “The oppressor has learned to kill MEN while their bodies remain alive. And with your ‘spirit extinguished’ you’re nothing but a fucking zombie, a shell of a man, waiting to die. And THAT is just as bad as death itself.”
In a nice catch by David Futrelle at We Hunted the Mammoth, we see that Men’s Right twitterer Rajesh Kumar approvingly linked to an article detailing the War Machines deep thoughts:
Every many will realize it- sooner than later- MMA Fighter : Men’s Oppression Is ‘Worse Than Slavery’

Jumping on board — but once removed and from a safe distance — Dean Esmay of A Voice for Men managed to find time to “like” a video commentary mocking Ana Kasparian of The Young Turks for discussing the assault on Mack:
I liked a @YouTube video from @drrandomercam http://t.co/sWrjMoyzeh Victim Fight: Tonight on Ottoman

So you can see that they have a certain admiration for their little War Machine, who is their id made flesh.
He may be a ‘roided-up psychopath, but he’s their ‘roided-up psychopath…
