Stewart marks birth of political gaffes with the ‘Circle of Life’

The Daily Show‘s John Stewart focused Monday evening on the media’s obsession with presidential campaign gaffes Monday evening, especially analyzing the aftermath of the latest notable “gaffe” in President Barack Obama’s “private sector is fine” quote.

Stewart decided to play the famous song “Circle of Life” from The Lion King movie to emphasize the birth of a new gaffe in inspiration of Obama’s walkback. “Wah, wah, congratulations Mr. President, it’s a gaffe,” Stewart said with a newborn’s cry.

But leave it to Obama’s opponent Mitt Romney to create a gaffe of his own with his “did he not get the message of Wisconsin,” line, inspiring Stewart to play the “Circle of Life” track once again.
