"Just yesterday, Senator John McCain, our colleague from Arizona, has claimed that the American people are opposed to reform and he speaks about the will of the majority," Sen. Mary Landrieu said on the Senate floor Tuesday. "I'd like to remind, respectfully, my colleague from Arizona that the will of the majority spoke last year when they elected President Obama to be president and they decided not to elect him."
