As over 100,000 gathered in Madison, Wisconsin this last weekend to protest an attack on workers' right to organize, activists in Washington, DC staged a solidarity rally in Dupont Circle.

They ultimately decided to move their protest to the White House, to urge Obama's support for workers, but when they arrived another rally was ongoing, objecting to Arab dictators in the Middle East.

Instead of standing apart, the two protests merged, supporting one another's calls for justice.

"It seemed to be symbolic of the unification taking place between the people of different ethnic backgrounds but sharing a common goal," the video's creator noted in an email to Raw Story.
