ROME (Reuters) - A man who tried to hijack a Paris-Rome flight Sunday and take it toLibya was overpowered by cabin crew during the flight and arrested when the plane arrived in Rome, Italian news reports said.


The Ansa and Agi news agencies said the man was in a very confused state of mind and that a female flight attendant on the Alitalia flight was taken to a first aid station at Rome airport for treatment of minor injuries sustained during a scuffle with the passenger. No other injuries were reported.
