MSNBC host Rachel Maddow visited a convention of the National Rifle Association with NRA member Meghan McCain, making good on a promise she had made to McCain earlier. The two discussed and debated gun policy, which is where McCain said she gets "really conservative."

"My problem is when it becomes this, 'You own a gun! You're going to go out there and kill everyone!'," McCain said. Later, after talking about how a gun made her feel safer as a female living alone she added, "I don't own a semi-assault rifle, and I don't see the need for the average citizen to own a semi-assault rifle."

Maddow admitted to having shot a tank round, and admitted that the one thing she liked about the NRA was the "gun safety stuff that they do."
