Bush press sec: Palin ‘wins again’ with email release
More than 24,000 emails later, the press and the public know more about Sarah Palin’s time as governor of Alaska than ever before. Dana Perino, who served as press secretary under President George W. Bush, appeared on Fox and Friends Monday morning to talk about the wave of emails, and the reaction of what Palin has dubbed the “lamestream media.”
“When it comes to Sarah Palin there is an obsession that nearly turns into a circus,” Perino said. “The media asked their readers to help them read through the emails as if they were trying to find something that would either prove she was evil, prove she was stupid, prove she did something wrong in office. And they’re disappointed, and the thing that is great to me — guess who wins again? Sarah Palin.”
