Stephen Colbert slammed the Supreme Court's decision last week dismissing the class action suit against Wal-Mart for discrimination against women, pointing out that their defense against systemic discrimination was one line in an employee handbook decrying it. He also noted that an employee could still sue the multibillion dollar corporation (and their legal team) with "the best legal team an $8 an hour cashier could buy." He finished by noting that the decision actually makes women more equal because, "From now on, both men and woman will be equally powerless against giant corporations."
