NBC terrorism analyst Evan Kohlmann sat down with MSNBC's Martin Bashir on Monday to discuss the influence of Americans on Anders Behring Breivik, who has admitted to a bombing and shooting rampage in Norway.

Kohlmann noted that the anti-multiculturalism movement in Europe is different than in the United States, but added that "Muslims are being treated like some kind of evil virus" in the 2012 Republican presidential debates.

"You only need to have a very small number of deluded people to see that and run with it, and then you have something terrible happen," he said.
