Pythagoras Solar, an Israeli company, hopes to transform the solar energy market with its double-paned windows that are embedded with solar cells.

The solar windows help shade the building from sunlight, reducing air conditioning use and enhancing the building's energy efficiency, while producing electricity.

The windows are more expensive that typical solar panels, at about $100 dollars per square foot, but the company said the windows save more money in the long run.
