New Darfur in the making in southern Sudan?
The Sudanese government is waging a campaign of ethnic cleansing against the region’s Nuban people, according to human rights activists.
Sudanese leader Omar al Bashir has targeted the indigenous African tribes of Nuba, who supported the newly created country of South Sudan. The campaign appears to be similar to the genocide that occurred in Darfur, another region of Sudan.
