Congressman Joe Walsh (R-IL) responded on Wednesday to Vice President Joe Biden allegedly accusing the tea party of acting "like terrorists" by holding the debt ceiling hostage.
"Vice President Biden, I'm not a terrorist," he said in a video posted on YouTube. "Terrorists target and kill innocent people. I'm a freshman Congressman who was sent to Washington in January to stop President Obama from bankrupting future generations and destroying job creation."
"The tea part movement consists of patriotic Americans who are concerned that our government is getting too big, we're losing our freedoms and we're leaving our kids and grandkids with a country they won't be able to afford," Walsh added.
The tea party lawmaker reportedly owes $117,000 in unpaid child support.
