Marjorie Taylor Greene voiced support for executing Democrats before she went to Congress: report
January 26, 2021
Marjorie Taylor Greene, the QAnon-adjacent GOP congresswoman from Georgia who played a large role in disseminating the rhetoric that sparked the Jan. 6 storming of the Capitol by a mob of Trump supporters, repeatedly signaled support for executing Democratic politicians in 2018 and 2019 before she was elected to Congress, CNN reports.
According to CNN, on a social media post in January 2019 Greene liked a comment that said "a bullet to the head would be quicker" to remove House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Greene liked comments that advocated for executing FBI agents for being complicit in a "deep state" plot in other posts. In one post, Greene wondered when "we get to hang" Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
<p>"Stage is being set. Players are being put in place. We must be patient. This must be done perfectly or liberal judges would let them off," she wrote.</p><p>When CNN asked Greene to comment on her past social media activity, she said that she's not the only one who runs her social media accounts.</p><p>"Over the years, I've had teams of people manage my pages. Many posts have been liked. Many posts have been shared. Some did not represent my views. Especially the ones that CNN is about to spread across the internet," she said.</p>

Ex-Republican Steve Schmidt says GOP state parties have officially ‘been turned over to the Q Party’
January 26, 2021
Former Republican consultant Steve Schmidt, who co-founded The Lincoln Project, told MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace that state Republican Parties are officially being turned over to the conspiracy group QAnon.
The QAnon group created a number of failed conspiracies about former President Donald Trump somehow not leaving office and a series of disasters that would happen on Jan. 20 if President Joe Biden was sworn in. Some Q followers confessed that they've become a "joke" and that they felt lied to. But the Oregon Republican Party doubled down on the theories last week when they announced that the attack on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 was a "false flag" created by the so-called deep state government to justify impeaching Trump again.
<p>It's a conspiracy that <a href="https://www.rawstory.com/tapper-crap-oregon-republican-parry/" target="_self">CNN's Jake Tapper called "complete crap"</a> and Wolf Blitzer called "obscene," but Schmidt warned that the GOP is officially the Q Party in some states. </p><p>"It's not surprising. Look, right now, when you look around the country, Nicole, there are at least four or five Republican state parties that are now Q parties," said Schmidt. "They have been taken over fully by the QAnon people. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has made clear that Donald Trump is the forever leader of the Republican Party and the America First movement."</p><p>He went on to describe Trump sitting in Mar-a-Lago regrouping and trying to figure out his next move. </p><p>"But these Republican senators will not be able to look away from what happened and what happened was incited to violence by the president of the United States, Donald Trump, that consisted of white supremacists, white nationalists, fascists, proud boys, extremist militias, violent and murderous thugs stormed the Capitol of the United States," Schmidt continued. "They bludgeoned to death a policeman. Six people were killed during that violent attack on the Capitol of the United States, the American flag was ripped down. The MAGA flag was raised in its place, raised over the American flag. The floors of the Senate and the House of Representatives were desecrated. A constitutionally mandated function was interrupted on purpose on the basis of a big lie that those members like Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) and like Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) not only complicit but the fathers of."</p><p>He said that they incited the mob as part of their attempt to overthrow the legislative branch of government. Wallace later described it as an attempt by Republicans to pretend that it never happened. </p><p>Schmidt explained that this is one of the main reasons that corporate America wants nothing to do with the Republicans who participated in what's being referred to as "the big lie" to overthrow the 2020 election. </p><p>See the discussion below:</p><p><br/></p>

Trump-appointed judge blocks Biden’s order to halt deportations after Texas AG sued
January 26, 2021
A federal judge in Texas has just placed a temporary stay blocking President Joe Biden's 100 day moratorium on deportations.
U.S. District Court Judge Drew Tipton, a member of the right wing Federalist Society, sided with Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.
<p>"Defendants are enjoined from executing the 100-day pause on removals for 14 days," Judge Tipton ruled. That apparently means deportations can continue for the next two weeks.</p><blockquote class="twitter-tweet">Breaking: federal judge temporarily blocks Biden's 100-day deportation pause in lawsuit brought by Texas AG <a href="https://twitter.com/KenPaxtonTX?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@KenPaxtonTX</a>.
