The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in China bred 21 pandas in 2011, bringing the total number of the endangered animals in captivity to 333. Recently, 12 of the panda cubs from the program left their mothers for the first time to live as a group at the center, frolicking in the enclosure and learning just how tricky gravity can be -- and it was all caught on tape.
