It turned out not to be your typical brownie sale at one New York City middle school, as a student placed an interesting ingredient in treats prepared for her classmates.
According to The New York Daily News, an eighth-grade girl sold brownies containing marijuana out of her bookbag at Intermediate School 208 in Queens during lunch time.
For two straight days, the unidentified girl sold each brownie for $3 each or two for $5, with 20 kids found to be eating them.
"They slipped my son a mickey,” one anonymous parent told The Daily News. "How come nobody noticed these kids were high?”
The kids who ate the brownies will face a hearing on what their punishment will be, according to a spokesperson from the New York City Department of Education. It's unclear as to what punishment the girl who sold the brownies will face.
