San Diego ‘vampire’ arrested for attacking homeless man
After weeks of stories about “zombie” attacks in the U.S., a “vampire” has decided to get in on the action.
A San Diego man with “vampire teeth” was arrested near San Diego on Monday after he allegedly attacked a homeless man, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.
A photo of the man displaying his fangs was available at the paper’s website.
Police had been called to a shopping center in La Jolla at 5:45 a.m. where they found the bleeding 55-year-old homeless victim with one eye swollen shut. He said that the suspect had begun beating him without provocation.
“The attacker kicked him repeatedly in the face, head and ribs while saying that he wanted to kill him,” the Union-Tribune reported.
The suspect, who also appeared to be a transient, was arrested on felony assault charges that may be later upgraded to attempted murder. His name had not been released by the time of publication.
