Parody: Rahm Emanuel explains what he’d really like to do to Chick-Fil-A

Published

on

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel touched off a firestorm last week when he announced his support for a local alderman’s attempt to prevent a Chick-Fil-A franchise from opening in his upscale neighborhood.

“Chick-fil-A values are not Chicago values,” Emanuel said in a statement, referring to the company’s opposition to same-sex marriage. “They disrespect our fellow neighbors and residents.”

Now the Second City Network has released a parody video, titled “Rahm Welcomes You to Chicago,” that plays off the notoriously foul-mouthed mayor’s statement.

“Chicago has a rich history of diversity, tolerance, and inclusivity,” the Rahm impersonator beings. “So — if you motherfuckers try and get in the city I’m building in my own image, I will fuck you. I will fuck you like I fucked Larry Summers, teachers, and the 50 state strategy. That’s hard, lubeless, and with a taste and sophistication that says ‘Rahm.'”

After that, it gets really obscene.

Tomi Lahren melts down over popularity of new Ocasio-Cortez documentary: ‘What the hell is going on?!’

Fox News' Tomi Lahren had a furious meltdown on Tuesday over the popularity of Netflix's documentary "Knock Down the House," which follows multiple Democratic presidential candidates over the course of the 2018 midterm campaign, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

After showing a trailer for the documentary, Lahren angrily denounced Ocasio-Cortez and her Green New Deal, which Lahren falsely claimed would ban cows.

Lahren then fumed that the documentary "somehow" won the Audience Award at this year's Sundance Film Festival, while also getting a "100 percent approval rating" from critics listed on the movie-rating website RottenTomatoes.com.

Meghan McCain snaps after co-host asks to vote out McConnell

Published

Meghan McCain erupted after her colleagues blamed Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for the extreme partisanship that has paralyzed Congress.

"The View" panelists were discussing Joe Biden's campaign promise to end political divisiveness, and McCain stood largely alone as her co-hosts said the former vice president's position was unrealistic.

"I think it's very clear that Mitch McConnell changed the rules for Merrick Garland," said co-host Sunny Hostin. "He's been obstructionist from the very beginning, it's why the Supreme Court looks the way that it looks, and McConnell has played partisan politics from the very beginning. He has had no interest in being bipartisan, and all of a sudden Joe Biden thinks when he's president Mitch McConnell is going to play ball. He is not going to play ball at all, he's going to only play ball if you play on his court with his rules, and I'm not buying it."

WATCH: Alabama GOP official berates reporter about Sodom and Gomorrah after she questions his anti-LGBT rant

Published

on

Republican Mobile County Treasurer Phil Benson defiantly told a reporter from a local news station to read the biblical story of Sodom and Gomorrah when she came to ask him about his recent anti-LGBT rant that he posted on Facebook.

The controversy surrounding Benson started when he reacted angrily to a story about a bakery getting sued for refusing to serve an LGBT wedding.

"Freaking queers have gotten too much sympathy," Benson wrote on Facebook in response to the story.

Local news station NBC 15 sent out reporter Andrea Ramey to question him about his remarks, and he tried to insist that she read Chapter 19 of Genesis, which details the destruction of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah over their tolerance of homosexuality.
