Jim Henson's "Fraggle Rock" has been off the air since 1987. So, imagine our surprise when Nerdist.com published a video this morning that not only brings the Fraggles back, but mashes them together with alt rocker Ben Folds, comedian Rob Corddry and actress Anna Kendrick in what may be the most epic puppet-based music video of all time.

Sure, it's not news in the sense that Raw Story readers are used to, but with work on the "Fraggle Rock" movie finally getting underway, and so many of our staffers being children of the 70s and 80s, we just couldn't resist sharing. Old fans of the show, make sure to watch it all the way to the end for something especially awesome.

For even more bonus awesome, check out Nerdist's behind-the-scenes video below, then click here for an interview with Ben Folds, who, as it happens, has a new album coming out tomorrow.

"I've never done a video where, in the middle of shooting the video I thought, 'This might improve the song,'" Folds told Nerdist founder Chris Hardwick. "It's usually the other way around."
