If corporations are people, which one would you rather have a beer with?
It’s that time of the election cycle, when pollsters look longingly at press coverage of polls past and wonder, “Who would Americans prefer to have a beer with in 2012?” because the people Americans would prefer to get drunk with are the ones they want running the country.
But since the Supreme Court and Mitt Romney have declared that corporations are people, and clearly the likeability of a person is inherent to their value as a thought leader, Raw Story thought we’d beat them to the jump.
Now, don’t fill in any microbreweries, since they probably aren’t incorporated and thus aren’t people as we understand it. Fetuses that brew beer are acceptable, however, as the Republican Party platform also defines fetuses as people.
