Rush Limbaugh used his show today to complain about rapper Jay-Z's performance of a modified version of "99 Problems" at an Obama rally in Ohio yesterday.

"Remember, it is Obama and the Democrats who claim that it's the Republicans who are conducting a war on women," Limbaugh said. "So here's Mr. Z who I think the most often used word in his lyrics is 'hos' and 'bitches' is performing for the President of hte United States and his supporters at a half-filled arena in Columbus Ohio."

"No we don't know what's in Mr. Z's heart," Limbaugh added, "But Mr. Z performed his song '99 Problems' and he changed the lyrics. He changed the word 'bitch' to "Mitt.'" Limbaugh then proceeded to play the clip from the rally, and made sure he audience understood the lyrics my reciting them himself.

Limbaugh himself was criticized earlier this year for the language he used to criticize then-Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke, who had been invited and then disinvited to testify before Congress about the need for oral contraceptives to be covered because they are often used to treat other gynecological disorders. Limbaugh called Fluke a "slut" and a "prostitute," which are the most commonly understood meanings of "ho."

What does it say about the college co-ed Susan Fluke [sic] who goes before a congressional committee and essentially says that she must be paid to have sex. What does that make her? It makes her a slut, right? It makes her a prostitute. She wants to be paid to have sex. She’s having so much sex she can’t afford the contraception. She wants you and me and the taxpayers to pay her to have sex.

He also stated earlier this year that "feminzazis" -- a term understood to mean feminists who are also "bitches" -- are responsible for men's shrinking genitals.

And in 2009, he took part in a beef with Jay-Z after the rapper asked the talk show host to "get off [his] balls." Limbaugh replied, "I would remind the rapper Jay-Z, Mr. Z, it is President Obama that wants to mandate circumcision. We had that yesterday, and that means if anybody - if we need to save our penises from anybody, it's Obama."

In 2008, the Obama campaign was criticized for using part of "99 Problems" during the then-Senator's entrance to a rally after beating then-Sen. Hillary Clinton in the Iowa primary.
