A live condor delayed an East Coast Hockey League game over the weekend featuring the Bakersfield Condors after an animal handler couldn't quite keep control of the creature during the national anthem.

The Condor, named Queen Victoria, got away after its handler slipped on the ice, and immediately began buzzing the team's home team's penalty box. It took a couple minutes to recapture the bird and get the game underway.

"She had some great moves on the slippery ice," a KTLA-TV anchor commented during Sunday night's broadcast.

The Condors went on to defeat the San Francisco Bulls 4-2.
