Thursday night on “The Colbert Report,” host Stephen Colbert warned against the perils awaiting our nation as it succumbs to the gay agenda. To mark the occasion, he presented a new installment in the recurring segment, “Stephen Colbert’s Big Gay Roundup.”
“Yesterday,” he said, “The Supreme Court overturned the Defense of Marriage Act, surrendering this country to the radical gay agenda of joint tax returns. It’s unnatural.”
He then cued up the opening sequence of “Stephen Colbert’s Big Gay Roundup,” which features actor Steve Carell in a 10-gallon hat, dancing and firing cap pistols into the air.
“I want to thank my old pal, international movie star Steve Carell,” Colbert said, “for never asking me how I planned to use that footage.”
The first item up was the American Medical Association’s recent suggestion that U.S. Food and Drug Administration lift its ban on gay men giving blood.
“Folks, letting gay people donate blood is an endorsement of the gay lifestyle,” Colbert warned. “In fact, I’m pretty sure a gay blood transfusion is how you ‘get gay,'” which he likened to being bitten by a fabulous radioactive spider.
In other gay news, on the Disney Channel sitcom “Good Luck Charlie,” an upcoming episode will feature a play date for pre-schooler Charlie with another child who has lesbian parents, who, Colbert said, will probably be having their own play date involving construction paper and crayons.
“I hear they call it scissoring,” he said.
