CA man sexually assaults woman at Beyonce concert, bites off her boyfriend's fingertip

Pasadena police arrested 11 people during a Saturday night concert by Beyonce and Jay Z, including one man who bit off the fingertip of the boyfriend of a woman he had sexually assaulted, the Pasadena Star-News reported.

According to police, Roberto Alcaraz-Garnica, 25, was arrested for sexual battery for repeatedly groping a woman at the concert in California. When the woman's boyfriend complained, he and Alcaraz-Garnica began fighting, and during the course of the altercation, Alcaraz-Garnica bit off the tip of one of the boyfriend's fingers.

For that, he was charged with mayhem, which includes under its auspices the disabling or disfiguring of part of a person's body.

Pasadena police Lt. John Luna told the Pasadena Star-News that "[t]he suspect sexually assaulted the female victim. During the altercation, the suspect bit the victim, causing serious injury to his finger -- he lost the tip of one of his fingers."

Alcaraz-Garnica is being held at the Pasadena Police Department's jail on $100,000 bail.
