Colorado man caught with 100 peeping tom videos from malls, homes, and tanning salons
A 36-year-old Colorado man faces criminal charges in two separate jurisidictions after authorities found 100 peeping tom videos on his cell phone of women at locations including a shopping mall and a tanning salon, KUSA-TV reported.
Police said Brandon Alexander Hansen broke into booths at a Lakewood tanning salon and filmed women who were naked while using the tanning beds. Videos taken at the salon, filmed between 2013 and 2014, reportedly show nine adult women and a 17-year-old girl.
Authorities also found 72 videos reportedly taken at the Denver Pavillions shopping mall, where Hansen allegedly rode the escalator for hours on June 28, when he was arrested for allegedly using his camera to shoot video from underneath womens’ skirts.
KMGH-TV reported that Denver officials charged Hansen with 25 counts of invasion of privacy and 35 counts of attempted invasion of privacy.
The suspect faces an additional 14 counts of invasion of privacy “for sexual gratification” as well as 11 second-degree burglary charges for his alleged actions at the tanning booth in Lakewood. He posted a $50,000 bond last month and is due back in court on Oct. 1.
A warrant for Hansen’s arrest also described nine other videos, shot at unknown locations, in which the suspect is filming women changing in their bedrooms.
“In one video, [Hansen] is inside the residence and films a female sleeping with her breasts exposed,” the warrant states. “It is unknown if he entered the residence legally.”
