The campaign of San Diego Republican congressional candidate Carl DeMaio hired and  hours later fired a new campaign aide after racist, sexist, and anti-Semitic tweets by the new employee were discovered online, reports San Diego Beat.

Former San Diego City Councilman Carl DeMaio, who  is running for the Congressional seat held by Democrat Scott Peters, fired college student Blaise Hahs after tweets containing hashtags like ‘#smartniggaprobzz’ and comments such as “Who wants to drink Vodka tonight? Must have a vagina though,” were discovered on his Twitter timeline.

Ironically, the DeMaio camp retweeted Hahs’ announcement that he had been hired by the campiagn, with Hahs writing he was “beyond stoked that I’ll be a regional political director for Carl DeMaio’s congressional campaign.”

The candidate added, “Welcome aboard.”

Reporters and the Peter’s campaign immediately reviewed Hahs Twitter timeline, discovering a photo of a baby monkey with the words “Kim and Kanye’s baby,” and a picture of a condom package with the words “Israel, it’s still safe to come,” to which Hahs added, “Fuckin’ Jews.”

Hahs also captioned a tweet showing a sculpture of a cringing naked man with “Bitch, I said NO TEETH.”

Alerted to the tweets, DeMaio pulled the job offer from Hahs.

In a statement to UT San Diego , De Maio spokesman Dave McCulloch said, “After learning of this individual’s clearly offensive and inappropriate tweets, the offer of employment was rescinded.”

Hahs, a a second-year student  and member of the Phi Psi fraternity at San Diego State University, has since made his twitter account private, sharing his comments only with his friends.

DeMaio is making his first congressional run after losing the San Diego mayoral race to former Congressman Bob Filner who later resigned in disgrace following accusations of sexual improprieties..

Democrats mulling revenge against Mitch McConnell over his treatment of Merrick Garland

Published

A report from Politico indicates that there is a battle within the Democratic Party on how much power they will exert placing judges on federal benches should they retake the White House in 2020.

Citing the way that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) held open the Supreme Court seat that was supposed to be filled by Chief United States Circuit Judge Merrick Garland, only to have Trump nominate conservative jurist Neil Gorsuch to the court, Democrats are considering using hardball tactics of their own.

Trump tweets deranged rant about Mueller and the FBI as hearing draws nearer

Published

On Monday, President Donald Trump tweeted an angry invective against former special counsel Robert Mueller, who is slated to testify before the House Intelligence and Judiciary Committees on Wednesday, proclaiming once again — falsely — that the report showed "NO COLLUSION, NO OBSTRUCTION!"

He followed up this outburst with complaints about a litany of villains frequently promoted by Fox News, including the Hillary Clinton campaign and two former FBI agents who were fired after having a affair and who supposedly were biased against him in text messages (though no evidence has ever shown they improperly influenced Mueller's investigation):

Trump busted for lying about not having ‘talking points’ about Dem congresswomen

Published

on

President Donald Trump furiously denied reporting that his aides had supplied him with "reams of opposition research" about four Democratic congresswomen.

The president has been lobbing racist attacks at the first-year lawmakers since last weekend, and the Washington Post reported that aides had supplied the background research to urge Trump to question their patriotism and political ideas, rather than calling on them to leave the country.

"The Amazon Washington Post front page story yesterday was total Fake News," Trump tweeted Monday morning. "They said 'Advisors wrote new talking points and handed him reams of opposition research on the four Congresswomen.'"
